TV Menu System
The Buttons on the Remote Control
The remote control contains buttons that are dual purpose
depending on which function (IV or DVD) is being used. In addition,
some of the DVD buttons can be hidden when the remote is being
used for the IV function. Slide the bottom portion of the remote
control downward to reveal additional DVD buttons.
TV Function Buttons
MUTE Lowers the volume to the minimum level. Pressagain to
restore volume to original level.
POWER Turns the IV/DVD on and off.
IV Puts the remote in IV mode.
INPUT Toggles between available inputs (IV (AIR/CABLE),AVl, DVD,
AV3].
SLEEP Press to set the Sleep Timer. Repeatedly pressing the button
advances the time in lO-minute increments up to 2 hours.
BROWSE Pressthe button twice to begin channel scan. Press again
to select the current channel.
INFO Displays channel information. Press again to remove the
information from the screen.
PIC Brings up picture presets.
CLEAR Removes a menu or display from the screen and returns you
to IV viewing. For menus with digit inputs, pressing CLEARwill clear
the last number entered.
0-9 (Number buttons) Use the number buttons to enter channel
numbers. To enter a two-digit channel, press the two digits. To enter
a three-digit channel, pressand hold the first digit for two seconds
until two dashes appear to the right of the number, then add the
second two. Example: to tune a channel 123, press and hold 1 for
two seconds, press 2, then press 3.
CCD Turns closed captioning on and off.
60 BACK Returns to the previous channel, lfyou are in the menu
system, GO BACKtakes you to the previous menu screen.
MENU Displays the Picture menu, first menu of the IV on-screen
menu system
Arrow buttons (VOL_ / I_ and PROG.A/V) Pressthe arrow
buttons to navigate through the on-screen menu system.
VOL _ / _ (Volume buttons) Decreases or increases the volume.
PROG.A/V (Channel buttons) Scans up or down through the
current channel list. Pressonce to change the channel; press and
hold to continue changing channels.
