Pin-Out Diagrams for HMI Connectors
The HMI connector supports either a RJ-12 (6-pin) jack or a RJ-45 (8-pin) jack.
Do not use RJ-11 plugs without voids at pins 1 and 8.
RJ-11 plugs without voids will permanently damage the outer pins of the HMI port,
and the HMI port will no longer be able to power HMI terminals or connect to user
interfaces.
Replacement plugs with voids are available and may be installed using an RJ-45
(Ethernet) crimp tool.
RJ-11 HMI accessories can be connected to the middle six pins of the HMI RJ-45
port.
