15.2 Reading PROFINET Diagnostics from the JXCP1
When an alarm is generated in the JXCP1, a PROFINET alarm is also sent to the PLC.
The SF LED on the PLC will be solid red to indicate a problem has occurred within the JXCP1.
However it is possible to determine the exact cause of the problem by using STEP7(SIMATIC Manager)
to read diagnostic information from the JXCP1.
(1) Start [HW Config] from STEP7(SIMATIC Manager). (Refer to 4.2(1).)
Select [Station]→[Open ONLINE] from the menu bar of [HW Config].
A red cross will be shown in the HW Config screen (may need to refresh screen by selecting [View] →
[Update] from menu bar).
(2) R/Click on JXCP1 icon and select [Module Information]

(3) In the Module Information screen, select the [IO Device Diagnostics] tab to display details on the
error.
Can view additional information on the error by clicking on the [Display] box.
