How to configure the Xport image transfer system*
The Xport image transfer system allows the automatic and
individual* transfer of all X-ray images created in various
file formats to an appropriately configured target com-
puter* or to a USB memory* connected to the USB inter-
face (F 2-8).
Use the navigator to activate the item Xport Image Transfer System* in the Main menu. The menu beside is
displayed.
Choose first whether to do an Image transfer to target computer via network or to USB memory.
If you have chosen the transfer to a target computer, use the second menu item to enter the IP address of
the Target computer to which the X-ray images are to be sent via data network. Get this data from the net-
work administrator.
Normally, the transmission of an X-ray image takes only a few seconds. During this time no X-ray inspec-
tions are possible. If, owing to troubles on the network or target computer, the transfer time defined via
menu item Max. transfer time is exceeded, the transfer will be cancelled. If transfer operations are can-
celled despite of intact network connections and target computer, the defined transfer time should be ex-
tended.
