Troubleshooting
Before working on the machine, unplug the power cord, turn off the water supply and actuate the spray gun until the pressure has
been relieved.
Fault Cause Remedy
Motor does not run when switched on
(hums when switched on)
Power cord has not been plugged in, mains
voltage is too low or improper
Plug the power plug into the wall socket
Check electrical connection
Check plug, cable and switch
Cross-section of extension cable is too small Use an extension cord with a sufficient
cross-section, see "Connecting the
machine to the power supply"
Connect the machine without an exten-
sion cord
Mains circuit-breaker has been tripped Switch off the machine, actuate the spray
gun until water only drips out of the head,
engage the safety catch, reset the mains
circuit-breaker
Spray gun not actuated Actuate spray gun when switching on the
machine
Pressure fluctuates or drops Shortage of water Open water tap completely
Ensure a sufficient inflow of water (use
3/4" hose)
High-pressure nozzle in spray head is dirty Clean high-pressure nozzle; see
"Maintenance"
High-pressure nozzle worn Replace high-pressure nozzle
Screens in intake of water tank or high-pres-
sure pump clogged
Clean screens; see "Maintenance"
High-pressure pump is leaky, valve is
defective
Have the machine checked by a servicing
dealer

Set detergent metering valve to minimum
setting, bleed air out of high-pressure
pump: To do this, remove the spray lance
