FUEL VAPOR SEPARATOR / HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

The components after the high pressure fuel pump re-
main pressurized at all times.
To protect against fuel spray, relieve fuel line pressure
before disconnecting or removing the components.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the intake manifold assembly.
(See the page 6-2.)
2. Remove the four bolts and the fuel vapor separator assem-
bly from the intake manifold.
3. Disconnect all hoses from the fuel vapor separator.
INSTALLATION
Installation is reverse order of removal.
See the page 6-5 for installation of the intake manifold assem-
bly.
