FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION

FRONT
REAR
The front and rear suspension
springs have five adjustable pre-load
positions. To change the spring pre-
load settings, place the vehicle on
level ground and lock the parking
brake. Using the spring pre-load
adjuster provided in your tool kit,
adjust the spring pre-load. Adjust
them by turning the spring tension
ring to the desired position. Position 1
provides the softest spring tension
and position 5 provides the stiffest.
The vehicle is delivered from the fac-
tory with its adjuster set to the follow-
ing positions.
Front: Position 2
Rear: Position 2
WARNING
Unevenly adjusting the right and
left front suspensions can be haz-
ardous.
Making one spring stiffer than the
other will result in handling prob-
lems that may cause an accident.
Adjust the right and left springs to
the same pre-load setting.
