REAR BRAKE LINING WEAR LIMIT
This vehicle has brake lining wear
limit indicator on the rear brake. To
check wear of the brake lining, per-
form the following.

1. Check that the brake system is
properly adjusted.
2. While fully applying the brake,
check to see that the extension
line of the index mark is within the
limit (Fig.A).
3. If the extension line is out of the
limit (Fig.B), have the brake plates
replaced by your Suzuki dealer to
insure safe operation.

WARNING
Failure to check brake lining wear
and replace brake shoes as rec-
ommended can be hazardous.
Riding with worn brake shoes or
brake shoes that are unevenly
worn will increase your chances of
having an accident.
Inspect brake lining wear and
replace brake shoes as recom-
mended. Always replace brake
shoes in sets.
