ROCKER ARM I.D.
When checking the rocker arm, the inside diameter of the rocker
arm and wear of the camshaft contacting surface should be
checked.
% Rocker arm I.D.
Standard: 12.000 îš– 1 2.018 mm (0.4724 îš– 0 .4731 in)
& 09900-20605: Dial calipers
REASSEMBLY
Reassemble the cylinder head cover in the reverse order of dis-
assembly. Pay attention to the following points:
 Install new O-rings
1 to the rocker arm shafts.
 Apply engine oil to the rocker arms and shafts.
 Install the rocker arms, wave washers and shafts to the cylin-
der head cover.
 Tighten the rocker arm shaft bolts to the specified torque.
" Rocker arm shaft bolt: 9 N•m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.5 lb-ft)

 Install new O-rings to the valve inspection caps.
 Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE to the O-rings.
# 09900-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE îš“A îš” ( USA)
09900-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE îš“ Aîš” (Others)
Install the gasket washers to prevent oil leakage.
