Pipesforcoolingmustbeprotectedbyinsulationagainstcondensationonthepipesandlossofcoolingin
thesummer.PipesandinsulationarenotdeliveredbySystemair.

Thecoilandpipesfromthecoilarenotconstructedtowithstandtheweightandstressfromvalves,
circulationpumps,longpipesandinsulationofpipes.Thesystemmustbesupportedcarefullyinrigid
bearingstoroof,floorandwalls.
i.4.4.3.1Pipeconnectiontoheatingcoils
Theheatingcapacityofthecoilwithonly2rowsisindependentof theconnectionofthehotwaterinequal
floworincounterflowtothedirectionoftheair,butconnectionofthehotwatertothepipemarkedfor
inlet
andthereturnwatertothepipemarkedforoutletisveryimportanttoensurethatthesensorfor
transmissionofthewatertemperaturereallywillbeplacedinareturncircuitofthecoil(Screw‐jointforthe
watertemperaturesensorisweldedinthemaincollection pipeforreturn
water).
Forthefrostprotectionofheatingcoil,thewatertemperatureinthecoil is transmittedtothecontroller
Thecontrolleralwaysgeneratesasignaltothevalvemotorthatkeepsasufficientflowofhotwaterto
protectthecoilagainstfrost.Thisfrostprotectionisalsoactivatedwhen
therunningmodeis“off”.
Coilswith3rowsormoremustalwaysbeconnectedincounterflowtotheairflow.
NOTE:Ifglycolisadded,theglycolmustbewithoutadditivesandautoglycolmustnotbeused.Automatic
bleedinghastobeinstalledatthehighestpointofthe
2pipes—supplyorreturnpipe.
Iftheheatingbatteryisbuiltwith3ormorerows,thewaterflowmustbeincounterflowtothedirection
oftheair.
Toprotectagainstfrostatemperature
sensorforthetransmissionofan
analogsignaltothecontrollerisplaced
inapipeonthecollectionpipefor
returnwater.Thesensormustbe
fittedwatertightwithacapinthepipe
beforewaterunderpressureisinthe
battery.The
pipeforthesensoris
solderedonthecollectionpipeandit
isimportanttoholdcontraonthe
pipe,whenthecapistightened.
