3. Connect the AFG31000 Series to the DMM as shown in the following figure. Be sure to connect
the 50 Ω terminator to the Ch1 (or Ch2) output connector on the AFG31000 Series.

4. Generate a 1 kHz, 4 dBm sine waveform with the AFG31000 Series.
5. Read the AC V
rms
value on the DMM.
6. Find the reference for flatness at 1 kHz by converting V
rms
to dBm as follows:
P(dBm)=10 x lg(20(Vrms/CF)2)
