8. T ur n the selection dial to the Distance position.
9. Press and hold the R eset calibration button
until the displa y reads “0”.
10. W hen y ou reac h the star t point, press the
master boom switc h to star t the distance
trac king with the monitor . Dri v e the mac hine
from the star t point y ou mark ed to the 500 feet
(150 m) end point.
11. W hen y ou reac h the end point, set the master
boom switc h to the Off position to stop the
monitor .
12. Look at the distance displa yed on the monitor .
If it reads “500 feet (150 m)”, y ou do not
need to calibrate the monitor any fur ther .
If it does not read “500 feet (150 m)”,
contin ue with the rest of this procedure .
13. Set the parking brak e .
14. With the selection dial set to the Distance
position, press and hold the Calibrate button
until the monitor displa ys “CAL HOLD” and
the red light on the monitor illuminates .
T he displa y will alter nate betw een the distance
v alue (“HOLD” sho wn) and the speed
calibration v alue (“CAL HOLD” sho wn).
15. W hen the distance v alue is displa yed, use the
Increase or Decrease calibration buttons to
c hang e it to 500 feet (150 m).
16. W hen the displa y begins alter nating ag ain,
the speed calibration v alue will ha v e c hang ed;
write this n umber do wn and sa v e it. T his is the
calibration v alue for y our spra yer .
17. Press the Calibrate button until the red light
tur ns off . Y ou can also exit calibration mode
b y dri ving the spra yer .
Resetting an OFL Condition
If the monitor reads “OFL ”, it indicates that y ou
ha v e ex ceeded the monitor screen dimensions .
Press and hold the R eset calibration button to set
the displa y to 0.
Calibrating the Boom Bypass
Valves
Before using the spra yer for the first time or if
the nozzles are c hang ed, adjust the boom b ypass
v alv es so that the pressure and application rate
remains the same for all booms when y ou tur n one
or more booms off .
Note: T he boom b ypass v alv es m ust be
calibrated eac h time the nozzles are c hang ed.
Select an open flat area to perfor m this procedure .
1. Fill the spra y tank with clean w ater .
2. Put the extension booms do wn, if installed.
3. Set the parking brak e and star t the engine .
4. Set the dial on the Spra y Pro monitor to
Application Rate .
5. Place the rang e selector in the Neutral position.
6. Press the accelerator to the floor and set the
neutral engine speed loc k switc h to the On
position.
7. Set the pump switc h to the On position to
star t the pump .
8. Set all three boom switc hes and the master
boom switc h to the On position.
9. Use the application rate switc h to adjust the
pressure as read on the pressure g aug e until it
is in the rang e for the nozzles y ou installed on
the booms (typically 40 psi/2.75 bar).
10. R ecord the reading on the pressure g aug e .
11. T ur n off one of the booms using the
appropriate boom switc h.
12. Adjust the boom b ypass v alv e ( Figure 30 )
under the boom control v alv e for the boom
y ou tur ned off until the pressure reading on
the g aug e is the same as it w as in ste p 9 .
