Checktheair-cleanerbodyfordamagethatcould
causeanairleakandreplaceitifitisdamaged.Check
theentireintakesystemforleaks,damage,orloose
hoseclamps.Also,inspecttherubberintake-hose
connectionsattheaircleanerandturbochargerto
ensurethattheconnectionsarecomplete.
Servicetheair-cleanerlteronlywhenthe“CheckAir
Filter”messageisdisplayedontheInfoCenter(Figure
88).Changingtheairlterbeforeitisnecessaryonly
increasesthechanceofdirtenteringtheenginewhen
youremovethelter.
