Transaxle Neutral Position
When performing routine maintenance and/or engine
testing, the transaxle must be shifted into the neutral
position.
1. Park machine on a level surface, stop engine, set
parking brake and remove key from the key switch.
2. Move shift lever to the neutral position (Fig. 3).
3. Make sure transaxle is in the neutral position by ro-
tating the secondary clutch (Fig. 4). The rear tires should
not rotate as the secondary clutch is rotated. If tire rota-
tion does occur, see Adjust Shift Cable in the Adjustment
section of Chapter 5 Drive Train.
1. Shift lever (in neutral)
