1.8.2 Optical axis adjustment
When the focus is incorrect at the front or rear side, adjust the focus by moving the mirror unit as
follows:
<Procedure> (Use the code “61” in the test mode “05”)
(1) Turn on the power while pressing the “0” and “5” keys simultaneously. The display “TEST MODE
100% AJ” will come on.
(2) Input “61”, press the PRINT key, and the current mirror setting position will be displayed (“09”
for example). Write this number down.
(3) Input another value (between 0 to 40) and press the INTERRUPT key to establish setting, then
press the ENERGY SAVER key and make a copy to check the focus.
(4) Repeat steps (2) and (3) until the front side focus has been corrected. Write down the value
when it is focused.

(5) Next, repeat steps (2) and (3) until the rear side focus has been corrected. Write this number
down.

(6) Set the setting to the value established in step (5) and turn off the main switch.

(7) Remove the feed cover.
