O-ring
and the timer adjusting
screw.

lnstall
a
new
O-ring,
the
spring
and other timer cover,
two
bolts and adjusting screw
lock nut.
ADJUST PLUNGER ADJUSTING
SHIM

lnstall
the coupling
and camplate.
HINT: Do not
assemble the coupling spring.
(b)
Clean the adjusting shim
and contacting surface area.
(c)
Using SST,
install
the used
adjusting shim and
pump
plunger.

Check
that the notch on the
pump plunger
is
aligned
with the camplate
pin.
(e)
lnstall the distributive
head with the four bolts.
Torque
the bolts.
Torque: 120 kg-cm
(9
ft-lb,
12 N.m)
NOTICE: Be
careful
not to damage the
pump
plunger.
(f)
Using calipers,
measure clearance
B indicated in the
figure.
(g)
Determine the
shim size
by
formula and chart.
New
