(a)
Place
the
camshaft on
V-blocks and, using
a dial
indicator,
measure the circle
runout at the
center
journal.
Maximum circle
runout: O.O6

greater
than
maximum, replace the
camshaft.

Using
a
micrometer,
measure
the
cam lobe height.
