INSTALL
VALVES
(a)
Place the spring
seat on
the cylinder
head.

Apply engine oil
to a
new
oil
seal
lip.
(c)
lnstall
new
oil seals
on the
valve
guide
bushings.
HINT: Pushing down
at the
places
shown
in the illustra-
tion.
(d)
Rotate the oil
seal to check
that
it is firmly
installed.
(e)
lnstall the valve,
valve springs
and spring
retainer.
(f)
Using
SST,
compress the
valve springs
and
place
the
two
keepers around
the
valve
stem.

Using
a
plastic-faced
hammer,
lightly tap the stem
to
assure
proper
fit.
