Traction Control Settings
Warning
Do not attempt to adjust the traction
control settings while the motorcycle is
in motion as this may lead to loss of
motorcycle control and an accident.
Warning
If the traction control is disabled, the
motorcycle will handle as normal but
without traction control. In this
situation accelerating too hard on wet/
slippery road surfaces may cause the
rear wheel to slip, and may result in
loss of motorcycle control and an
accident.
The traction control can be set to one of
the following conditions:
ON Optimal traction control setting
for road use, allows minimal rear
wheel slip.
OFF Traction control is turned OFF.
The TC disabled warning light
will be illuminated (see page 31).
Traction control defaults to ON after the
ignition has been switched OFF and
then switched ON again.
