• Never operate the device immediately after it was taken from a cold room to a
warm room. The resulting condensation may lead to malfunctions or damage!
Moreover, there is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Allow the charger (and the rechargeable battery/batteries) to reach room tempe-
rature before connecting the charger to the mains voltage and using it. This may
take several hours!
• Handle the product with care. Impact, blows, mechanical pressure, vibrations or
falls from even a low height will damage the product.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be
turned off and precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentio-
nally.
It can be assumed that operation without danger is no longer possible if the de-
vice has any visible damage, the device no longer works, after extended storage
under unsuitable conditions or after difcult transport conditions.
d) Handling Rechargeable Batteries (General)
• Batteries do not belong in the hands of children. Always keep batteries out of the
reach of children.
• Do not leave rechargeable batteries lying around openly. Children or pets may
swallow them. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately!
• Rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into
re. There is a risk of re and explosion!
• Leaking or damaged rechargeable batteries may cause caustic burns if they
come into contact with skin. Therefore you should use suitable protective gloves
for this.
• If any battery connector cables need to be cut to size (e.g. if the battery is
supplied without a connector plug), cut each cable individually to prevent a short
circuit occurring. Risk of re and explosion!
• Only charge rechargeable batteries with the right rechargeable battery techno-
logy (LiPo or LiFe) with the charger. Never try to charge any other rechargeable
batteries or non-rechargeable batteries with this device. There is a risk of re and
explosion!
