Check Steering Knuckle Bearing
To perform a check of the steering knuckle bearing,
complete the following:
•
Check the steering knuckle bearing for excessive dirt,
wear, or damage.

Check Front Wheel Bearings
To perform a check of the front wheel bearing clearance,
complete the following:
•
Check wheel bearings with a dial indicator. Bearing
clearance should be within 0.04 to 0.12 mm (0.001
to 0.005 in.).
