Scanning a 35mm Slide or Negative from the TWAIN Interface
1. Open the TWAIN interface in one of the TWAIN applications on
your computer.
If the Basic Interface opens instead, click the Advanced
Interface button. The two illustrations on page 87 show the
difference between the Basic Interface and the Advanced
Interface. The options to scan 35mm slides and negatives are
only available on the Advanced Interface.
2. Click the drop-down menu at the top of the Advanced Interface
and choose the type of transparency to scan.
• Scan Slide Using to scan 35mm slides.
• Scan Negative Using to scan 35mm negatives.
NOTE: See the sections “Accessing the TWAIN Interface from
One Touch” on page 84 or “Accessing the TWAIN Interface from
PaperPort” on page 85 for the steps to open the TWAIN
interface.
