1. Overview
System Administrator Mode
As system administrator, you will need to perform administrative
tasks on the machine such as configuring the system and
changing system settings. To do so you must first enter the
System Administration mode.
To log in as System Administrator and display the System
Administrator Menu screen:
1. Press the Log In/Out button on the Control Panel.
2. Using the numeric keypad, enter the System Administrator
UserID and password. (You may also select Keyboard to
display a keypad screen and enter the user ID and password.)
NOTE: The default User ID value is 11111.
KEY POINT: It is recommended that you change the System
Administrator UserID and password immediately after installing
the machine. For information about the setting, refer to “System
Administrator settings” in this chapter.
3. Select Confirm.
4. To exit the System Administration mode, select Close
repeatedly until the Network Settings screen is displayed and
select Exit.
