What to do if no LEDs or LCDs are illuminated on my Yale Controller?
- Llinda19Aug 6, 2025
If no LEDs or LCDs are illuminated on your Yale Controller, it could be due to several reasons: 1. **Battery Issues:** Ensure the battery is properly connected and has the correct voltage. Also, check that the key switch is in the ON position and the brake override circuit is connected in the run position. 2. **Defective Battery Charger:** Disconnect wires 2D and 12 from the leads to the battery charger. Use a test lead to connect 2D and 12. If the truck then operates, inspect the charger fuses and repair or replace the battery charger as needed. 3. **Defective Motor Controller:** Check for battery voltage between the A-6 and B power wire connection at the controller. If the correct battery voltage is present, the controller may need to be replaced.
