 The free throttle switch can only be used
when the control lever is in the neutral po-
sition.
 During operation the digital electronic con-
trol-active indicator changes from continu-
ously lit to blinking. When the indicator
starts blinking, the throttle begins to open
after the control lever is moved at least
22.5°.
 After using the free throttle switch, return
the control lever to the neutral position. The
free throttle switch will return automatically
to its set position. The digital electronic
control-active indicator will change from
blinking to continuously lit and the digital
electronic control will then engage forward
and reverse normally.

Throttle friction adjuster
A friction device provides adjustable resis-
tance to movement of the control lever, and
can be set according to operator preference.
To increase resistance, turn the adjuster
clockwise. To decrease resistance, turn the
adjuster counterclockwise.
