TIP:
Trolling is affected by currents and other
operating conditions and may differ from
the actual engine speed.
When warming up a cold engine, the troll-
ing speed cannot be decreased below the
specified engine idle speed.

Stopping engine
Before stopping the engine, first let it cool off
for a few minutes at idle or low speed. Stop-
ping the engine immediately after operating
at high speed is not recommended.

Procedure for stopping engine
1. The engine can be turned off either by
pressing the Start/Stop button or by
turning the main switch to the “ ” (off)
position. After the engine has been
turned off using the Start/Stop button,
turn the main switch to the “ ” (off) po-
sition.
TIP:
The engine can also be stopped by pulling
the cord and removing the clip from the en-
gine shut-off switch, then turning the main
switch to “ ” (off).
2. Remove the key if the boat will be left un-
attended.
