CONTROL FUNCTIONS
DIGITAL TACHOMETER
This meter is integrated with the tachometer,
trim-meter and oil-level warning meter.

Tachometer
This meter indicates the engine speed.
Readings are digitally displayed in hundreds
(100) of rpm.
Trim-meter
The trim level is shown by segments; 11 seg-
ments (for the trim zone) and 2 segments (for
the tilt zone).
Oil level indicator
This indicator shows the quantity of engine oil
remaining in the oil tank.
DUAL STATION JUNCTION UNIT
This unit allows changeover of control between
the first and second stations.
Whenever the controls lever at one remote
control box is placed in either forward or
reverse, the control lever at the other remote
control box is locked at the neutral position.
When free acceleration is used, the control
levers of both remote control boxes are locked.
ACTUATOR
The actuator uses an electric servo system to
have the dual station system perform the shift-
ing operation.
The shifting motion of the remote control lever
is transmitted to the junction unit mechanically
through cable, and then electrically to the
servo-motor which controls the shifting mecha-
nism on the engine according to the lever
movement.
