Configure the Band Steering
The procedure provides the parameters of Band Steering configuration features. Band
Steering is used for switching between radio 2.4GHz and radio 5GHz .

On the main page of the ZTE H1600, select Local Network > WiFi > WiFi Band
Steering to open the WiFi Band Steering page, see Figure 5-13.

Table 5-6 lists the Band Steering parameters.

Click on to enable the radio handover function.Depending on the dis-
tance and signal strength, handover will occur between the 5GHz net-
work and the 2.4GHz network.

Click Apply button to apply the changes.

Configure the SSID Isolation
Sets whether to enable SSID Isolation for WiFi networks.If SSID isolation function is en-
abled, the wireless clients with the different SSID can not access each other.

On the main page of the ZTE H1600, select Local Network > WiFi > WiFi SSID Iso-
lation to open the WiFi SSID Isolation page, see Figure 5-14.
