Visual indicators
The LED indicators on the CoreSense Hub differ from standard CoreSense indicators (see Figure 26). The
CoreSense Hub combines several external sensors. Instead of one specific LED for each internal sensor (for
hydrogen and moisture), the CoreSense Hub combines these two internal sensors into one LED indicator,
freeing up the remaining LED indicator for the external sensors. The System LED remains the same. See Table
10 on page B56 for more information on interpreting the LED indicator colors.

System Hydrogen/Moisture External Sensors
SOLID GREEN
The sensor is powered up and
operating normally.
Both the level AND the 24-hour
rate-of-change for the hydrogen
and moisture are below the user-
configured WARNING threshold.
All external sensors are below
the user-configured WARNING
threshold OR no external sensor
is connected to the CoreSense
Hub.
BLINKING YELLOW
WARNING
Remains on while the CoreSense
Hub is booting up. If the sensor
remains in warning mode for
more than three minutes, this
indicates that the sensor requires
user attention, or that the thermal
element is disabled or is being
operated outside its nominal
specifications*
The level or the 24-hour rate-of-
change for hydrogen or moisture
is above the user-configured
WARNING threshold
One or more external sensor level
is above the user-configured
WARNING threshold.
BLINKING RED
ALARM
This indicates a sensor fault.
Refer to the event log.
If you can not fix the indicated
event, export the Event log and
contact ABB as indicated on the
backcover of this guide.
The level or the 24-hour rate-of-
change for hydrogen or moisture
is above the user-configured
ALARM threshold
One or more external sensor level
is above the user-configured
ALARM threshold.
OFF
Sensor is not powered.
* This condition can be triggered by an unacknowledged ALARM, oil temperature above 100 °C, etc. Use the event log to determine the root
cause of the warning.
