Introduction to the manual
This chapter describes the intended audience and contents of the manual.
Applicability
This manual is applicable to the following PVS980-58 central inverters:
• PVS980-58-1818kVA-I
• PVS980-58-1909kVA-J
• PVS980-58-2000kVA-K
• PVS980-58-2091kVA-L
Target audience
This manual is intended for FIMER trained and certified persons who commission and
service the inverter. Read the manual before you do work on the inverter. You are
expected to know the fundamentals of electricity, wiring, electrical components and
electrical schematic symbols.
Categorization and option code
Some instructions, diagrams, technical data, dimensions and options apply only to specific
units. To identify the unit, refer to the type designation labels on the unit. The instructions
and technical data of optional components are marked with option codes, for example,
+K475. For information on how to read the type designation, refer to the Hardware
manual.
