42 Maintenance
Replacing the internal cooling fans
WARNING! Obey the safety instructions on page 5. If you ignore the
instructions, physical injury or death, or damage to the equipment can
occur.
1. Before you start, stop the inverter and
do the steps in Electrical safety on page
6.
2. Open the cabinet doors and remove the
touch protection shrouds.
3. Disconnect the power and control
cables of the cooling fans.
4. Loosen the screws that attach the
cooling fan holder.
5. Remove the cooling fan holder.
6. Remove the screws that attach the
cooling fan to the cooling fan holder.
7. Replace the cooling fan. Make sure that
the air flow direction is correct.
8. Install and tighten the 4 screws to attach
the cooling fan to the cooling fan holder.
9. Connect the power and control cables
of the cooling fans.
10. Install the touch protection shrouds and
close the cabinet doors.
11. After the inverter starts, make sure that
there are no fan failure warnings. You
can read the status of each fan from
parameter group 202 Fan control.
