Using the Analogue Output
The analogue output can be used to drive an analogue instrument to e.g. display the motor current. It can work in the following
modes: 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-10V
Relevant Module Parameters:
DX1xx-FBP.0 Enabled
Aux. Inp 1 - 6 Delay
DX1xx-FBP.0 DI Delay (Delay for all in-
puts)
Analog Out0 Type
Analog Out0 Error Reaction
Aux. Inp 1 - 6 Acknowledge Mode
Aux. Inp 1 - 6 Reaction
Aux. Inp 1 -6 Message Line 1 / Line 2
Missing Module Reaction
Using a Voltage Module (VI150-FBP.0/155-FBP.0)
Activating a Voltage Module (VI150-FBP.0/155)-FBP.0
To activate the voltage module set parameter VI15x-FBP.0 Enabled to On. If a module is enabled the UMC monitors the presence of
the module and triggers by default a fault in the event that the module is missing (-> parameter 'Missing Module Reaction').
Before the voltage module can be used the parameters listed below must be adjusted. For the voltage based protection parame-
ters see section "Voltage and Power Protection Functions".
Using the Relay Output
The relay output is connected to the fieldbus command telegram and can be controlled from the control system. See the fieldbus
command telegram for the relevant bit position. By default it is not used by the UMC in any way. But it can be used in a customer
specific function block application.
The relay output of the modules VI15x-FBP.0 can be freely used in the Custom Application Editor. Consult the editor's
manual if you plan to use the output directly in the UMC.
Relevant Module Parameters:
VI15x-FBP.0 Enabled
Nominal Line Voltage
Nominal power factor (cos phi)
Number of phases
Missing Module Reaction
Using an Analog Input Module (AI111.0)
To activate the analog module set parameter AI111.0 Enabled to On. If a module is enabled the UMC monitors the presence of the
module and triggers by default a fault in the event that the module is missing (-> parameter 'Missing Module Reaction'). See section
"RTD based Temperature Supervsion and Analog Inputs" for more information about the protection and monitoring functions
based on the AI111.0.
Relevant Parameters for the AI111 module
AI1xx.0 AM1/2 enabled
AM1/2 mode
AM1/2 CH1 type
AM1/2 CH1 err reac
Dip Autorestart Enable
AM1 Tmax trip level
AM1 Tmax warn level
AM1 Tmax delay
