The Food Probe will not Operate
Place the food probe in a container of ice water. Measure
the ohm value of the food probe. Is the measurement 100
ohms?
No
Replace the food probe.
Yes
Plug the food probe into the probe receptacle. Measure the
ohm value of the food probe at the control board P8
connector. Is the measurement 100 ohms?
No
Repair or replace the wires from the
from the probe receptacle to the
control board.
Yes
Navigate to the diagnostics screen. In the Temps field, there
are six temperature readings. The top two are for the food
probe temperatures, the bottom four are the chamber
temperatures. Is the temperature for the food probe 32°F?
No
Replace the control board.
Yes
The food probe is working properly.
