u H Disconnect the two connectors (4) on
either side of the front fairing.
u H Disconnect the connector (5) on either
side of the front fairing.
u Detach the front fairing (6) complete with
headlight.
CAUTION
Make sure to refit the electrical
connectors (4) and (5) to the matching
connectors on assembly.
CAUTION
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
with care to avoid scratching or
damage.
After refitting:
u Set the rearview mirrors at the correct
angle.
REMOVING THE SIDE FAIRINGS
Carefully read page 80
(MAINTENANCE).
WARNING
Allow for the engine and exhaust
silencer to cool down completely before
proceeding.
u Place the vehicle on the stand, see page
77 (PLACING THE VEHICLE ON THE
STAND).
u Slacken and remove the seven quick
fasteners (1).
u Release and collect the rivet (3).
CAUTION
Handle plastic and paint-finished parts
with care to avoid scratching or
damage.
u Remove the side fairing (2).
NOTE Repeat process to remove the
other side fairing.
