Coolant
Checking coolant level
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and hold the motorcy-
cle vertically.
Check coolant level on scale 1
of coolant expansion tank.
Coolant, specified level
between MIN and MAX
marks on expansion tank
If coolant level is too low:
Add coolant.
If coolant level is too high:
Contact a specialized work-
shop, preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad retailer.
Topping up coolant
Pull out radiator cap cover 1
toward front.
Open cap of coolant expansion
tank 2.
