9.7 Machinery noise information
Machinery noise information pursuant to the equipment
safety code
Noise measurement pursuant to DIN 45 635, Part 1, to
determine:
1. Acoustic power levels L
WA
2. Workplace-related emission value L
pA
i The noise emission of an operating injection pump
test bench is dependent to a great extent on the
injection pump which is to be tested. As there is still
no specification for a “standard” injection pump,
we state values for the injection pump test bench
without an injection pump and two values with typi-
cal injection pumps. These are not maximum values.
Higher noise levels may occur with larger or more
powerful injection pumps.
i The following values were measured on an EPS815:
MGT measuring system Test bench
without injection pump
Test bench
with VE injection pump
Test bench
with PE injection pump
Test speed n = 0 n = 4000 n = 1750
n = 2675 n = 500 n = 1050
