Measure Interval
Check the mechanical and elec‐
trical connections.
According to the specifications in the machine
maintenance plan, but at least every 1000 ope‐
rating hours.
Check the machine for smooth
running, vibrations and bearing
noise.
According to the specifications in the machine
maintenance plan, but at least every 1000 ope‐
rating hours.
Remove dust, chips and other
dirt from the housing, cooling
fins and the connections.
Depending on the degree of soiling, but after one
operating year at the latest.

7.7.3 Re-lubrication of the hybrid bearings
The average continuous speed determines the service life or the interval
length until the required re-lubrication. However, the number of re-lubrications
is limited due to the size of the grease collecting chambers on the bearings.
A lubrication nipple is located on both sides of the energy storage device for
re-lubrication of the bearings (see Fig. 7-2). In order to ensure that no con‐
tamination penetrates into the contact zones of the bearing, the lubrication
nipples must be cleaned before each use at all costs.
● The amount of lubricating grease per re-lubrication must be
between 22 and 25 g.
Before re-lubrication, determine with which stroke rate the
used grease gun reaches the permitted grease quantity in
order not to exceed this quantity.
● The grease must be pumped in slowly and carefully during
operation at a low speed of ≤ 100 rpm so that the bearing is
not overheated due to re-lubrication.
● Re-lubrication of the bearings must only be carried out 4
times.
● If the end of the available operating hours of the last re-lubri‐
cation interval has been reached, no further re-lubrication
may be carried out. In this case, remanufacturing must be
carried out by Bosch Rexroth.
