Overview:
The IZA/ZA 2120-HZ/LZ amplifier are new Pro installed business music systems, consisting of
four separate chassis. The product family is similar to the current IZA amplifier product line, but
whereas those amps are half-width chassis, the IZA/ZA 2120-HZ/LZ chassis are full width.
Of the four chassis, two have internal DSP with switch selections for Bose
®
Professional
speakers (Hi-Z Master and Lo-Z Master) as well as a paging input along with 2 channels of
amplifier output. The other 2 chassis are slave amplifier units, Hi-Z and Lo-Z also. They have
only 2 analog inputs and are meant to be driven by one of the master amp versions.
120W x 2, Supported Hi-z and Lo-z speakers. The Marketing Names for these products are:
IZA 2120-HZ, ZA 2120-HZ, IZA 2120-LZ and ZA 2120-LZ.
All four amplifier versions share a similar architecture. As a result, some of the PCB assemblies
are common across product versions.
In the IZA 2120-HZ and ZA 2120-HZ, the SMPS PCB, Amplifier PCB and the LED PCB are com-
mon. The Rear Panel PCB is different for these two amplifiers. The ZA 2120-HZ does not have a
DSP PCB or a Front Panel PCB.
In the IZA 2120-LZ and ZA 2120-LZ, the SMPS PCB, Amplifier PCB and the LED PCB are com-
mon. The Rear Panel PCB is different for these two amplifiers. The ZA 2120-LZ does not have a
DSP PCB or a Front Panel PCB.
