Chapter 3: Commands and Programming
0 No filtering
1 5-point S-G smoothing
2 9-point S-G smoothing
3 17-point S-G smoothing
4 25-point S-G smoothing
5 3-point median filtering
6 5-point median filtering
• No filtering is performed when the number of samples parameter of Com-
mand 3 is –1 (real-time sampling).
SAMPLING/TRIGGER SETUP Example
{3,0.2,50} 3 = SAMPLING/TRIGGER SETUP
0.2 = Sampling every 0.2 second
50 = 50 samples
Initial defaults are used for triggering and other
parameters.
{3, 0.001, 255, 1, 2, 2} 3 = SAMPLING/TRIGGER SETUP
0.001 = Sampling every 1 millisecond
255 = 255 samples
1 = Absolute time recording
2 = External trigger (CH1)
2 = Trigger on voltage greater than 2V
Command 4 - CONVERSION EQUATION SETUP
Command 4 specifies conversion type, order, and constants for conversion
to special units (like Newtons or degrees Celsius).
Syntax
{4, Equation Number, Equation Type, Units Display, Constants}
Equation Number Parameter
This parameter specifies a equation number for loading of conversion equa-
tions. Equations have a fixed relationship with channels, so that Equation 1
corresponds to Channel 1, Equation 2 corresponds to Channel 2, and so on.
The initial default for this parameter is 0.
0 Clears all equations.*
1 Equation 1 (Channel 1)
2 Equation 2 (Channel 2)
3 Equation 3 (Channel 3)
4 Equation 4 (SONIC channel)
