Solvent Compatibility
The EDGE is compatible with any solvent. Below is a list of some solvents with their characteristics and
applications. Note that these are not the only solvents compatible with the EDGE and these are not the only
applications that these solvents can be used for. The EDGE can handle a pH range of 4-9. The EDGE is not
compatible with strong acids or bases.

The EDGE is not compatible with strong acids or bases.
Add Solvent
Each Method will require a solvent for cycle parameters and wash method. The EDGE has 6 bottle positions
that solvents cans be assigned to and can be used per method. See section below to add additional solvents or
solvent mixtures to the database.
1. Select the System Menu icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Solvents.
4. Select the New icon in the upper right corner of the screen. A pop-up will appear.
