Symptom Cause Remedy
1 Brake does not
function correctly.
z Improperly adjusted brake pedal play. Properly adjust the brake pedal play.
z Worn or damaged brake linkage. Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
z Excessively worn brake disk. Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
z Deteriorated transmission/hydraulic oil. Replace the transmission/hydraulic oil.
z Degraded quality of transmission/
hydraulic oil.
Replace the transmission/hydraulic oil.
Symptom Cause Remedy
1 Steering does not
function correctly.
z Uneven tire pressure. Adjust the tire pressure to the correct
level.
z Insufficient transmission/hydraulic oil,
deteriorated transmission/hydraulic oil
or clogged transmission/hydraulic oil
filter.
Check the amount and quality of the oil.
Replace deteriorated oil. Refill as
necessary. Check the filter for clogging,
and replace the clogged filter with a good
one.
z Transmission/hydraulic oil is too cold. Start the engine, and warm up the
transmission/hydraulic oil.
z Insufficient lubrication of the steering
linkage.
Lubricate steering linkage.
z Steering play is too great. Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
z Bent front axle. Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer for technical assistance.
