CAUTION
: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS setup program’s settings to default. Before removing the I/O board
along with the coin-cell battery, it is recommended to note the BIOS setup program’s settings.
Remove the base cover.

Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board.
2 Remove the two screws (M2.5x2.5) that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3 Turn the I/O-board over.
4 Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O-board.
5 Lift the I/O board o the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
