Replacing the palm rest and
keyboard assembly

Procedure
Place the palmrest and keyboard assembly on a flat surface with the keyboard
facing down.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the display assembly.
2 Replace the system board.
3 Replace the processor fan and heat assembly.
4 Replace the speakers.
5 Replace the touch pad.
6 Replace the power-adapter port.
7 Replace the I/O board.
8 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 4 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
9 Replace the wireless card.
10 Replace the power and volume-buttons board.
11 Replace the battery.
12 Replace the base cover.
