To Correct a Setting Error
1. Ensure all sensors are secure. Your keypad will identify all open zones.
2. If the trouble light is on, enter [*][2] and enter [99] or scroll to the Acknowledge All Troubles prompt and press [*], if your
installer has configured your system to impede setting when a trouble is present.
3. Try setting the system again. For details on setting the system, see one of the previous setting procedures.
4. If errors persist contact your installer.
3.10.2 Audible Exit Faults
Note:Must be enabled by installer.
In an attempt to reduce false alarms, the Audible Exit Fault notifies you of an improper exit when setting the system. Improper
exits are caused by failing to securely close the Exit/Entry door.
Improper exits cause the following system notifications:
l The keypad emits one continuous beep.
l The bell or siren sounds for the duration of the entry delay until a valid user code is entered or until the programmed Bell
time out expires.
3.10.3 To Correct an Exit Fault
1. Re-enter the premises.
2. Unset the system before the entry delay timer expires by entering your [access code].
3. Follow the Away setting procedure again, making sure to close the entry/exit door properly. For more details see: “Away Set-
ting the System with the Keypad”.
3.11 Alarm System Unsetting Methods
The PowerSeries Neo system is capable of supporting the following alarm system unsetting methods in accordance with BS8243-
2010
l Prevention of entry to the supervised premises before the partition is unset.
l Unset by using the wireless key before entering the supervised premises causes or permits the initial entry door to be
unlocked.
l Unset by using the Mini Prox tag in conjunction with one of the keypad modules HS2LCDP, HS2ICNP, HS2LCDRFP8,
or HS2ICNRFP8, after entering the supervised premises and within the programmed entry delay.
3.11.1 Unsetting the System
Depending on your system configuration, there are multiple methods you can use to unset your system. You can unset the system
using a:
l 2-way wireless key
l Proximity tag
To Unset the System with a 2-way Wireless Key
1. Press the unset button anytime the system is set. ( Set indicator is on).
2. If you walk through the entry door the keypad will beep. Press the unset button within ____ seconds to avoid an alarm con-
dition.
To Unset the System with a Proximity Tag
1. Present your proximity tag to a keypad equipped with a proximity sensor anytime the system is set. ( Set indicator
is on).
2. If you walk through the entry door the keypad will beep. Present your proximity tag within
_____ seconds to avoid an alarm condition.
Note:Duration of Entry timer is programmed by installer. The installer will advise the maximum duration of entry delay that was
programmed in the system. It cannot exceed 45 seconds.
3.11.2 Engineers Reset
If an alarm has occurred on your system, the system will not allow you to reset (Read light is OFF). You will need to contact your
installer. They will check and reset the system for you, this may involve a visit to check your system. After the reset is performed
your system will function properly again.
3.11.3 Downloading Enable
To enable a 6-hour downloading window from any system keypad, enter [*] [6] [Master code] [5]. During this time, the panel will
answer incoming downloading calls. DLS-3 downloading software allows you to program and control supported DSC security sys-
tems from any PC-compatible computer. DLS-3 can send data and programming information to, and retrieve it from security sys-
tems using a modem, or using the DSC PC- LINK device.
