7-3. DOUBLE FOLDING THICK PAPER
7. OPERATION PROCEDURES
• When thick paper (above 105 g/ u) such as fine
quality paper, etc. is folded into fours, its thickness
may cause its folds to open when it is ejected to the
stacker. As a result, the paper will not be able to
pass through the stacker rolls and paper jam will
occur.
Note : Take note that paper below B6 size
(157 g/m
2
) cannot be ejected if folded
into fours.
• In this case, proceed in the following steps.

Place the paper on the paper feed table, lower the
paper set lever and raise the paper feed table.
ò
While pressing the “clear” button, press numerical
key “5” or “6” and move the stacker roll manually.
ô
Adjust so that the stacker rolls are above the belt.
