14. ERROR MESSAGES
• This unit has a self-diagnosing function which will display the following error
messages when problems arise while the unit is operating.
• When error messages are displayed, refer to the following countermeasures.
Display Check Correct
No paper on the paper feed
table.
Paper has become stuck at the
paper feed section.
Paper has slipped at the paper
feed section.
Paper has become stuck at the
rubber roll section or has coiled
around it.
Paper has become stuck at the
folding plate.
Paper has become stuck at the
stacker section.
“Err1” is displayed when the
“test” or “start/stop” button is
pressed.
Paper has become stuck at the
stacker section.
“Err2” is displayed when the
“test” or “start/stop” button is
pressed.
Paper feed table is facing down.
Stacker motor has locked due to
overload.
Load some sheets of paper.
Remove the paper.
Raise the paper feed pressure by
one level.
Remove the paper.
Remove the paper.
Remove the paper.
Remove the paper.
Lower the paper set lever and set
so that the paper feed table faces
up.
Turn off the power and correct
the cause of the lock.
Contact your serviceman.
