The HotSwap MBP module
enables UPS servicing or even
replacement without powering off
the load.
Maintenance
1. Set the switch to the
"Bypass" position. The red LED
indicator on the HotSwap
MBP lights up, indicating that the
load is directly powered by the
AC input power supply.
2. Press the "On/Off" button
on the UPS control panel to
power off the UPS. The "UPS
ON – OK to switch" LED
indicator goes off and the
UPS can be disconnected and
replaced.
Return to normal operation
1. Check whether the UPS is
correctly connected to the
HotSwap MBP.
2. Press the "On/Off" button
on the UPS control panel to
start the UPS. The "UPS ON –
OK to switch" LED indicator
on the HotSwap MBP will light up
(otherwise it means a connection
error between the HotSwap MBP
and the UPS).
3. Set the switch to the
normal position. The red LED
indicator on the HotSwap MBP
goes off.
