Replacing the Waste Ink Bottle
There are two methods for replacing the waste ink
bottle as described below. Use the appropriate
replacement method to suit your situation.
Read the following before starting this procedure.

When a message is displayed
indicating it is time to replace the
waste ink bottle
Replace the waste ink bottle with a new bottle
immediately.
When a message is displayed, press How To.... You can
check the procedure on the control panel while
replacing the waste ink bottle.

Important:
When the message Waste Ink B ottle i s near ing
end of its service life. is displayed, prepare a new
waste ink bottle as soon as possible.

bottle at this stage in the procedure.

When you want to replace it at any
time
When you want to replace the waste ink bottle due to
night operations and so on before the message is
displayed indicating that it is time to replace the
bottle, follow the steps below to replace the waste ink
bottle. If you do not follow the steps below, you will
not receive a message at the correct replacement
interval next time.

Press on the screen, and then press
Replace Waste Ink Bottle.
B
Press How To... to view the procedure.
Follow the on-screen instructions to perform
the procedure.
