1.6.5 Detail settings for the TCS
You can set the detail settings for the TCS on the [Detail Setting] window of the [TCS]
menu.
Parameter Explanation
Rules Enable Heading Monitor Uncheck this item.
Off Course Limit Start Course difference limit to start the TCS
Alert Threshold Course difference alert threshold

Min XTE When the XTE value exceed this value, return to
the course.
Min Course Error When the course difference value exceed this val-
ue, return to the course.
Default Approach Angle Preferred angle at which to approach track center-
line
Radius Preferred radius of turns
Advance Coefficient Tuning parameter, must be set greater than "1.0".
Delay Delay between the TCS start and start of the ma-
neuver
Ramp Time Duration of the smoothing of XTE values that are
sent to autopilot at TCS start
Monitoring XTE at Pivot point Check the checkbox to change the reference point
for the XTE from CCRP to pivot point.
Alert Talker ID Keep the default setting.
Track Control Rudder Limit - Line/Turn Rudder limit value sent to autopilot.
XTE Noise - Line/Turn White noise added to XTE values. Normally, set to
“0”. Adjust the value in cases where autopilot tun-
ing is incorrect.
