18. To save the configuration, perform a consistency check, then save the configura-
tion data on the [Save and Sync] menu.
After saving the configuration, reboot the ECDIS processor unit connected to the
autopilot to enable the [TCS] button in the Voyage navigation mode.
1.6.3 How to set the Navigation Parameter
When you active the TCS, set the Navigation Parameter. After setting the Navigation
Parameter, the configuration can be copied to other processor units connected to the
network.
1. In the chart mode, press Ctrl, Shift and t keys simultaneously on the control unit
or keyboard.
The password input dialog box appears.
2. Enter the password and click [OK].
Note: The service mode remains enabled until you press Ctrl, Shift and t keys
simultaneously or reboot the unit.
3. Click [MENU] to open the menu.
4. Click [Navigation Parameter] to show the [Navigation Parameter] setting window.
5. Enter [SPD kn] (ship speed), [Radius NM] (turning radius) and [FWD DIST NM]
(forwarding distance*).
*: The distance the ship travels straight after the steering control is send to the au-
topilot.
Setting Option Remarks
ECDIS
Primary Select the Equipment ID of the primary ECDIS.
Secondary Select the Equipment ID of the secondary ECDIS.
Autopilot
Manufacture Enter the manufacturer of the autopilot.
Model Enter the type of the connected autopilot.
